Why I Quite being a breathcoach

Newsletter of 29th of October 2024
As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming an actress.
Later, I realized the heart of that dream was actually about something deeper:
Living life from many different perspectives.
Looking back now, I can confidently say,
“I am what I dreamed of becoming”
—and that is not a breath coach (or an actress).

Breathing is indeed a powerful tool.
Functional breathing, once a hidden gem, has finally stepped into the light.
BreathJourneys, aka conscious connected breathing, are truly insightful and immensely valuable and popular. And all for good reasons!

However, the purpose is not to seek healing in each new breath circle.
As striving to become the “perfect breather” does not bring happiness or fulfillment.
Instead, different breathing methods serve as practices for applying insights and tools into the responsibilities of your beautifully complex daily life.

However, beyond breathing, many other tools, knowledge, and experiences are necessary to truly understand how our brain and body function. And what choices to make in life.
This includes translating our (un)conscious self-conversations and connecting with our Inner Senses to train ourselves to genuinely listen to our body and mind.

Only after mastering this will one arrive at the choice of how our body wants to spend its wisdom and time. Because, darlin'....

"Our only continuous responsibilities are to our body, our words, and our time."
How do you tune in to the whispers of your body and mind?
What words do you choose for yourself and others?
With whom, and on what, do you invest your time?

Does your body host your mind, or your mind hosts your body?
While we often label them as separate entities, both are part of the same concept.

The mind is the body, just as the body is the mind.
So, NO I don’t just teach people how to breathe; I guide them in cultivating body-mind awareness, developing a deep understanding of the brain, and, most importantly, learning to know their own minds, thoughts, language and bodies.
Including philosophical considerations on time, life, senses, and the cycles of life and human being, helping you un-cover your own n-ice way. And I collect this insights through my own practices, encounters with clients, listening to people, serving a coffee and just any daily life experience.
The n-ice way is NOT a method; it’s a gateway to information, allowing to choose the insights that resonate with you today.
It’s a journey, not a destination—a continual beginning.
It’s always the beginning… the beginning of living an (im)perfect life, of feeling truly at home in our body—just as it is!

So, no, I am not a breath coach.
But the breath sure is a great place to begin.
Warm hug,
Kim
